Canvas Wraps: The Perfect Personalized Gift

Consider your search for the perfect custom-made gift complete. One of the most thoughtful things you can give to all the special people in your life are canvas-wrapped prints. Beautiful and classic, a canvas wrap takes an image and wraps it around a frame, essentially creating a frameless piece that allows the focus to stay on the art.

  • Baby shower gifts for the nursery wall
  • Congratulatory item for a new client opening a new office
  • Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or just any day!
  • House warming present
  • Birthday or anniversary gift
  • Graduation send-off for a dorm room wall

After you’ve chosen an occasion and recipient, get started creating your canvas print by first considering the following:

1.Choose Your Photo(s)

Everyone has different tastes—especially when it comes to how they decorate. When you’re deciding which type of image to use for a canvas wrap, think about what your recipient’s home looks like. Is it more of a minimalist style? Modern? Shabby chic? Thinking about what types of colors and furniture they have will help you choose an image.

Never been inside their home? There are still ways to figure out the right style. For example, take notice to how they dress! Any colors you’ve seen them wear over others? Do they choose more fashionable or classic apparel? These small observations can help you find an image that will resonate.

Canvas wraps also allow for your piece to be printed with accurate colors because of our professional printing processes and use of high-quality canvases. Here are just a few ideas of images you can use to create a stunning and memorable canvas wrap:

  • A favorite scenic landscape from a trip you took together
  • Their happy place: for example a sports stadium, a mountain they like to ski, the home where they grew up, or a shared family vacation home
  • The ever-popular family photo from a professional photo shoot

2. Choose Your Canvas Wrap Size

After you’ve decided on a certain photo (or photos!) you want to use, it’s time to determine which size canvas wrap you’d like. The most popular sizes are:

  • 12″ x 18″
  • 18″ x 24″
  • 24″ x 36″

To help you choose, think of where the canvas wrap might be located. Art that’s hung above the couch is typically larger than, say, in an office, nursery or kid’s room. However, if you’re looking to go above and beyond, consider printing a series of three smaller images to create a gallery wall! Canvas wraps are a great value for your money, so choosing this route won’t break the bank.
