3. Material Makeover. Review the materials you plan to use as these are the audience’s first impression. Look at your business cards, email marketing pieces and direct-mailers. Are they modern and professional-looking? Do they look cohesive? If not, it might be time for a makeover.
   
4. Go Mobile. Smartphones and tablets are growing in popularity and consumers are constantly relying on mobile devices. How does your website look on an iPad or Droid? Would QR Codes work for various promotions? Consider integrating digital and mobile marketing into your plan.
   
5. Measure Your Progress. Whether is it for review at the end of the year or tracking your progress along the way, measuring what has worked and what hasn’t will keep the momentum high and lead to consistent marketing practices. Be sure to develop a system that measures tactics, results and budget.
